Pros:

MSN Messenger 7.5 has a new self detect feature for when you cannot seem to get online. The feature is called the Troubleshooter for Connections Test. The test covers the IP, the Default Gateway, the IE Online settings, the Host File, and many other possible problems keeping you from talking away. The best part is when the problem is found the Messenger repairs itself.

The MSN Messenger 7.5 also has other great features such as the Welcome to MSN Messenger Screen that points out how to use Shared searches, Video conversations so you can see your loved one smile while you tell them the joke. Welcome to MSN Messenger also has new features such as the Animated Winks, your Personal Music Message, and an easy way to Share Photos. Welcome to MSN Messenger also has links helping you to add people to your list and customizing your MSN Messenger.

MSN Messenger 7.5 also has quick buttons on the Messenger now so you can switch back from seeing who is online, to creating your own Windows Live Space while entering into various contests where you can win great prizes. MSN Messenger 7.5 also has the Windows Live Expo where you will find listings for various social things such as buying or selling items, or find an apartment even search for a job. Well some of the features mentioned above are not free like the Winks, backgrounds and more so unless you want to pay stay away from the Get More From Messenger Button. However one thing to point out about the winks is that when you open a MSN Messenger Chat window you will see winks pre-installed and more than enough to fit your humorous side.

Another Con is the Download size, if you are using dial-up Internet be prepared to spend at least a half-an-hour downloading it. After which you have to install the program all while online. Another thing you should know is that the download and installation now has the windows toolbar in it and can cause issues during the installation.

Removal of MSN Messenger 7.5:

Once you have played around in MSN Messenger 7.5 and for some reason decided you don’t like it, removing the program is even easier than installing it. Just go into your Control Panel and hit ADD AND REMOVE PROGRAMS and a list will pop up allowing you to be able to remove it.
